FriendAudit is a web service that tells you who is not following you back on Instagram without requiring your password! Users can upload their data exports from Instagram and then FriendAudit analyzes that data to return your results so that you can unfollow those who are not following you back. Be a friend, not a follower!

Other apps require you to give them your login credentials and they log into your IG account to make API calls to give you unfollower insights. This is dangerous and unsecure since they have access to all your data and can be used as bad actors. Furthermore, many of these apps no longer work because Meta will detect unusual activity (like their logins from strange IP addresses) and stop their login attempts. These often end up leading to your account getting banned. FriendAudit lets you choose to only share your followers data (instead of all your account data including "likes", "posts", etc) and never requires your login information.

Yes, you can use the app for free by uploading your IG data export and seeing a limited number of results. Subscribe to one of our paid plans to see all of them.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. You can do this from your account settings page (Profile -> Subscriptions).

We analyze your IG data to provide you with insights into your asymmetric relationships (when someone you follow is not following you back and vice-versa). We do not sell your data and it is used only for analytical purposes. We store this data so that with a subscription, you can see how those results change over time. A friend and I were leaving a party and someone that we hadn't met asked us to trade Instagrams on our way out. We exchanged IGs and then a few days later, they had unfollowed us but kept us on their account as followers. We saw they had 4x more followers than who they were following. But for the people you're following that aren't Taylor, other reasons they might not follow you back is because: a. They reached the maximum number of following (7.5k), b. They don't like your content but still like you (ex. someone who's trying to lose weight but you keep posting delicious food photos), c. Social media is already addictive and seeing you on there makes it even more addictive (aww, it's because they like you too much!), etc. You have to decide on a case-by-case basis whether you'll unfollow when you see your results."
